Perekopska Street in Kherson remains in the “red zone” and has suffered significant damage as a result of Russian shelling.
In footage released by local residents, it can be seen that almost every building there is destroyed or damaged. In the multi-story buildings windows are broken, walls are destroyed, and facades are crumbling in places.
Some houses were burned and remain blackened after the fires. Advertising banners hang torn.
On the roadway and sidewalks remain building debris and glass, fallen trees and severed power lines. Leaves are not being cleared due to the high level of danger.

Remember, it was once peaceful here: the Dnipro nearby, convenient interchanges and the road to the Antonivskyi Bridge. Today proximity to the river has become a constant threat. This is the atmosphere now prevailing on Perekopska Street in Kherson.
According to the latest data, on the right-bank part of Kherson region, Russian shelling has damaged or destroyed almost 33,000 private and 1,500 multi-apartment buildings. Some of the buildings have been damaged repeatedly.
